Now, I will introduce you to the innovative and magical way of reading Hangul, the Korean alphabet.
By just memorizing 14 consonants and 10 vowels,
you’ll be able to read all Hangul correctly,
even if you don’t understand the meaning. Furthermore,
Korean language has a lot of loanwords that are pronounced exactly as they are in English,
so you’ll also understand the meaning of many Korean words. There’s no language like this anywhere in the world.
From now on, I will introduce the pronunciation of 24 words. Please play them slowly and repeat them for memorization
Basically, you read from 1 to 5 in the order from top to bottom, and if there are no characters in the position, you skip it and read the next number
When you read the sounds that make up a word quickly, it becomes the pronunciation of the word.
If you read ‘브어’ quickly, it becomes ‘버’.
If you read ‘스으’ quickly, it becomes ‘스’.
This word is pronounced ‘버스’, the same meaning as the English word ‘bus’.
Shall we try another one?
If you read ‘프이’ quickly, it becomes ‘피’.
If you read ‘으아’ quickly, it becomes ‘아’.
